Awaiting review by counsel. This document is complete in structure and reflects how the product actually behaves, but it has not yet been settled by a practising advocate. Treat it as the intended position rather than the final one.
Who operates JurisBot
JurisBot is a product of Adamant Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India on 24 May 2022 under CIN U74999AP2022PTC121751. More about the company at adamanttech.in.
Questions about this document go to support@jurisbot.in.
1. The service
JurisBot is a software service that provides legal information about Indian law with the sources it is drawn from, reviews and drafts documents, organises your matters, and lets you send a consultation request to an advocate who has listed their practice.
2. What it is not
JurisBot does not provide legal advice and is not a law firm. Using it creates no advocate–client relationship and attracts no legal professional privilege. It does not represent you, file on your behalf, appear anywhere, or predict outcomes. See the disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and capable of contracting under Indian law.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and for everything done through it.
- The information you give us — including, for advocates, enrolment details — must be accurate and kept up to date.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use JurisBot to commit, plan or conceal an offence, or to harass, defraud or intimidate anyone.
- Upload content you have no right to upload, or that contains someone else’s personal data without a lawful basis.
- Present JurisBot’s output as advice from an advocate, or resell it as a legal service.
- Attempt to extract the underlying models, scrape the service, or circumvent usage limits.
5. Advocate listings
Listings carry Bar-verifiable facts in a neutral order. They are not recommendations, rankings or endorsements, and no placement is for sale. Any engagement and any fee is agreed directly between you and the advocate; we are not a party to it, we hold no money, and we take no commission. Advocates pay a flat subscription for a listing and a consult inbox, never a per-referral fee.
Advocates using JurisBot remain bound by the Bar Council of India Rules and by their State Bar Council, and are responsible for their own compliance with them.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in Indian rupees, inclusive of GST.
- Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings, effective at the end of the current period.
- Usage limits apply per plan and reset each billing period.
- We may change prices with reasonable notice before your next renewal.
7. Your content
You keep all rights in what you upload and in the documents you generate. You grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you — to store, process and display your content back to you, and to share it with an advocate when you choose to. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
8. Availability
We aim to keep JurisBot available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of a material adverse change where we can.
9. Liability
JurisBot is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any decision you take, or do not take, on the basis of information the service provides — which is why the service shows you its sources and tells you to confirm anything that matters with an advocate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
10. Termination
You may stop using JurisBot and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the seat of Adamant Technologies Private Limited’s registered office have exclusive jurisdiction.
