JurisBot provides legal information about Indian law, together with the statutes and judgments that information is drawn from. It does not provide legal advice. Advice means the application of law to your particular facts by a person who is professionally responsible for that application, and JurisBot is not that person.

Using JurisBot does not create an advocate–client relationship between you and Adamant Technologies Private Limited, nor between you and any advocate listed in the app. Nothing you send through JurisBot is protected by legal professional privilege.

What JurisBot does not do

• It does not represent you, file anything on your behalf, or appear before any court, tribunal or authority.
• It does not predict how a case will be decided, or what a court will do.
• It does not cover law outside India.
• It does not rate, rank, recommend or advertise any advocate.
• It does not handle, hold or process fees payable to an advocate.

Accuracy and currency

Answers are generated only from retrieved source text, and every citation is checked against what was actually retrieved before it is shown to you. That check materially reduces invented citations. It does not make JurisBot infallible. Law changes, sources are amended, retrieval can miss a relevant authority, and a correct source can still be applied to your facts incorrectly.

You should read the sources shown with any answer, and you should confirm anything that matters with an advocate before you act on it. Limitation periods in particular are unforgiving: if a deadline may be running, treat that as urgent.

Documents and drafts

Documents JurisBot drafts are starting points prepared from templates built on named statutes. They are not settled by an advocate, they are not adapted to local practice, and they may not meet the requirements of a particular court, commission or authority. Review any draft — ideally with an advocate — before you send, sign or file it.

Urgent situations

If someone is in danger, has been detained, or a legal deadline is about to expire, do not rely on an app. Police assistance 112. Women’s helpline 181. Child helpline 1098. Free legal aid through NALSA 15100. Free legal services are available as of right to specified categories, including women and persons in custody.

Advocates listed in JurisBot

Advocate listings carry facts that can be checked against the relevant State Bar Council roll. They are not recommendations, endorsements or assessments of quality, and their order carries no meaning. Any engagement, and any fee, is agreed directly between you and the advocate. JurisBot is not a party to it and takes no commission.
